Donne & Cavalli Sponsors Dressage Champion, Greta Wrigley
Saint Simon Island, GA- Donne & Cavalli, makers of the botanical skin care line
developed for active equestrians announced a sponsorship agreement with
Florida-based dressage trainer, Greta Wrigley.
For the past 20 years, Greta Wrigley has specialized as a dressage trainer for
Arabians and Arabian crosses. In fact the name, Greta Wrigley is almost
synonymous with Arabian Dressage. Not a surprising fact, as Wrigley has
earned over 70 Regional Championships and 9 National Championships,
as well as her Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals from USDF competing Arabians.
Wrigley has also been honored 3 times as the Arabian Horse Trust’s “Female
Dressage Trainer of the Year”. Greta is the owner and head trainer of Greta
Wrigley Training and conducts clinics all over the Southeastern United States
and abroad.
Donna Mastrianni the Master Esthetician , turned dressage rider who created the Donne & Cavalli skin care line , first met Wrigley when she participated in one of Wrigley’s riding clinics in 2005. Like most of Wrigley’s large following of adult amateur riders, Mastrianni was impressed with Wrigley’s “informative and upbeat approach to training horse and rider”. “Greta gave us so much information and made learning exciting and fun,” said Mastrianni of that first clinic. Meanwhile, Wrigley was very impressed with Mastrianni’s skincare line. “They quality of the Donne & Cavalli products was evident immediately,” said Wrigley,” naturally that led to me spreading the word about these products to my students”.
The Donne & Cavalli (Italian for “women and horses”) line was created from Mastrianni’s passion for helping women take better care of themselves. Mastrianni developed her entire skin care line with essential oils that are soothing and appealing to horses. “We all take great care of our horses,” laughed Wrigley, “Now we can start taking care of ourselves, too”.
The sponsorship between Donne & Cavalli and Greta Wrigley will kick-off at the Arabian Horse Association of Florida (AHAF) Thanksgiving Show in Tampa, Florida this November. Donne & Cavalli will have a booth at the show where Wrigley fans and others can test out the products and stock up on holiday gifts. In addition, Donne & Cavalli will present a special High Score Award for the Musical Freestyle division. Wrigley will be on hand to present the award.
